I have loved drawing from nature since I was a little girl. Growing up in a time when a child could freely wander through countryside and woods, I observed, explored and noticed details and differences through the changing seasons. The paintings are a reflection of my love for the subject and my desire to create something lasting and beautiful.

This is just a sampling of my portfolio of nature studies available for purchase. Working in watercolor and pencil, I take great pleasure in capturing each flower’s unique beauty in my own style. Using opaque watercolor, I am able to build layers of color and detail, petal by petal as I draw with my paintbrush.
