Jill Winch SBA DIP.EGS

Jill Winch initially trained as a Graphic Artist but in later years studied Botanical Painting. This enabled her to study plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables and to depict them in a variety of mediums.
Since Jill's initial studies she attended the Chelsea Physic Garden where she gained her Diploma in Botanical Painting.
Jill is also a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and exhibits at their annual exhibition in London. She recently won the Daler-Rowney Choice award for her painting of the Medinilla Magnifica .
Jill Also Exhibits her work at Norton Way Gallery, Letchworth and Jonathan Noot Gallery, Broadway, Cotswolds.
She holds painting holidays in Tuscany, has tutored regularly in Galway,Ireland , Missenden Abbey and more recently coloured pencil courses around the beautiful Thetford Forest.
Jill has also been commissioned to design art work for Weddings, chosen flowers are painted and incorporated into invitations and table settings. 
This year she will be demonstrating at Art in Action in Oxfordshire along with Missenden Abbey.
She currently holds regular classes from her Garden Studio in Hertfordshire, students are surrounded by the many beautiful flowers and plants they are shown how to paint, both in watercolour and coloured pencils.
Jill’s approach is to encourage  all levels of ability and she has taught students from beginners through to exhibition levels .
